Impala Skate is driven by a team of girls and our range features artwork from some of our favourite artists and illustrators, including cute skateboard designs by Robin Eisenberg (LA), Art Baby Girl (NYC), Surfy Birdy (Florida), Pea The Feary (USA), Martina Martian (Europe) and Elroseabel (Melbourne).

We care about our impact, and endeavour to create a product that is conscious of this. We are mindful of every detail throughout all stages of design and production – from the materials and sourcing to the manufacturing processes that we use. We have partnered with the National Forest Foundation to donate to their tree-planting program – planting three trees for every one tree we harvest in the making of our skateboards.

What is the easiest skateboard to learn on?

Learning to skateboard is all about sticking with it – and that’s a lot easier when you’re having fun. So, we recommend choosing the type of skateboard that matches the kind of skating you want to do. That said, a longer wheelbase will feel a bit more stable and forgiving, and softer wheels will help you navigate all the little bumps and gravel – so a cruiser or a longboard is usually a little easier to get started on.

What are the three main types of skateboards?

What do our skateboard measurements mean?

We provide measurements for each of our skateboards so that you can compare the width, length, and wheelbase of each of our complete street skateboards, cruisers and longboards. Width is a little more important for street skating and tricks, but wheelbase length is probably the biggest detail for those looking to cruise with confidence.
